Update on Gatherings and Events....

Dear Kilmore Quilters Members,

Once again we write to you with heavy hearts.  Due to current circumstances of which we have no control over, the Committee have been toing and froing over what to do.  We have made the very difficult decision to cancel all of our gatherings, quilt days for June, July and August.  This is because we cannot guarantee everyone’s safety under the current circumstances.

·     The AGM has been postponed and a new date will be advised when it is safe to do so.  All Committee Members have agreed to stay on board until the AGM can be held.  An application has made to Consumer Affairs Vic for an extension to lodge our Annual Report, which will mean an extension until December.

·         “Scrappy Quilt” class with Rhonda C has been cancelled

·         “Whizz Bang” weekend with Rachel Daisy has been cancelled.

·         Our Quilt In, which was scheduled for the 10^th Oct is also cancelled.  This is because we cannot control the numbers or seat spaces of people attending.

·         The Retreat:  Has been rebooked for Thurs 15^th to Sun 18^th April 2021.

Remember, you can organise smaller groups in your homes, but we, as a group cannot host larger meetings and gatherings.

At this point time, there will be no Newsletters until we can reconvene as a group and safely hold a Committee Meeting.  You can always contact a Committee Member by using the contact information provided in the Newsletter if you have a question.
