Well, that was March !

We say it all the time, the year goes by way to fast.  Can't believe that tomorrow is April, summer is over and autumn seems to have finally set in.

March saw the ladies making Snuggly Quilts, starting new projects and finishing many old projects.

There were plenty of Sit n Sews, Quilt Shows and Exhibitions to attend with plenty to inspire both the new and experienced quilter.  Checking the calendar for April there seems to be plenty on in and about Victoria including AQC.

We had a really great day with Marie Lee from Victorian Quilters Snuggly Quilt program, finishing off 7 quilts and moving several dozen a bit further along the "production line". But despite or best efforts, Marie Lee's cupboard is looking a bit bare for the Royal Children's Hospital.

Marie urgently needs COMPLETED NEW quilts suitable for children from 0-18 years of age. If you are able to help out she would love to hear from you. Contact her via the Victorian Quilters Website if you are able to either finish off a quilt (yes that might mean just binding) or if you have one ready to go.

Our gatherings had plenty of Show & Tell on offer:

Cathy made a bag for her portable iron
Liz K finished this quilt which she also quilted herself.

Rosalie loves doing crazy quilts, she started this one to make use of family heirlooms.
Shirley has recently finished this quilt

Alison has finished her bow tie quilt which she started 2 years ago.
