March saw the ladies making Snuggly Quilts, starting new projects and finishing many old projects.
There were plenty of Sit n Sews, Quilt Shows and Exhibitions to attend with plenty to inspire both the new and experienced quilter. Checking the calendar for April there seems to be plenty on in and about Victoria including AQC.
We had a really great day with Marie Lee from Victorian Quilters Snuggly Quilt program, finishing off 7 quilts and moving several dozen a bit further along the "production line". But despite or best efforts, Marie Lee's cupboard is looking a bit bare for the Royal Children's Hospital.
Our gatherings had plenty of Show & Tell on offer:
Cathy made a bag for her portable iron |
Liz K finished this quilt which she also quilted herself. |
Rosalie loves doing crazy quilts, she started this one to make use of family heirlooms. |
Shirley has recently finished this quilt |
Alison has finished her bow tie quilt which she started 2 years ago. |
