We are a community promoting quilting and related crafts.

Kilmore Quilters provides a social environment for us to get together and share knowledge, learn new skills and create wonderful pieces of art that you can throw on a bed, hang on a wall, or present to someone you love.

Monthly gatherings are held on the following days : Our evening gathering is at 7pm, on the 3rd Wednesdayof the month at the Kilmore Memorial Hall, Kilmore, in the supper room.

Well April just flew on by

Wow, it's already May and we are past the first quarter of this year.   Whether you are busy or not the months just seem to by flying by.

In April we had a wonderful workshop led by Pat Stevenson, who taught the ladies some tricks with sewing curves.  This will enable them to produce some wonderful variations on Drunkards Path along with incorporating curves blocks into their quilts.

Jenny's workshop sample, which she also used to practice her quilting

For more photos from the workshop go to our FLICKR account.

Barry is working on this quilt for his wife.  It is a mixture of pieced background and applique butterflies.
Show and tell this month gave us a variation of quilts and techniques to admire.  It is wonderful to see the progress and the growth of our members through their work.

This month is our AGM on May the 18th followed by our Retreat, which I'm sure many of our ladies are looking forwards to.
