July Happenings & Show'n'Tell

Our July Gathering was extremely well attended, with lots and lots of Show'n'Tell this month.  Please enjoy the scrolling through the pictures this month, there is lots to see. 

During the Gathering a small Christmas Tree workshop was held and it was an impromptu "Christmas In July" event.  

For a different take on a Christmas Tree, these Suffolk Puffs with buttons will be stacked together to make gorgeous little tree decorations.  These are being made for sale at our Quilt Show in October.  As you can see, there's a lot in progress.

A very excited H brought in her prize winning quilt from Vic Quilter's Showcase - She was awarded Runner-Up, Small Quilts, Amateur.  This is very exciting for our Group.

It's no secret that many of our Members LOVE Sashiko.  Check out these beautiful stitches!

Getting Together Again!

It's been such a long time since anything was posted here on this blog.  Now, with being able to gather again we are very excited to have been able to update our Calendar page - and to share with you all the events we have planned for the rest of 2022.  A true year of celebration as we celebrate and reflect upon 20 years of Kilmore Quilters.

First off, we will are offering a 'free' workshop at our Christmas In July at the July Day Gathering for a small fabric Christmas Tree...

In August we will be celebrating 20 years of Kilmore Quilters Inc at a very special anniversary lunch on Sun 21st.  There will be raffles, door prizes and a display of past challenge and group quilts.  For further details, please contact Kilmore Quilters via e-mail  kilmorequilters@live.com 

September will be a quiet month with a 10-10 Sit'n'Sew on Sat 17th plus the night and day gatherings.

October will be another wonderful celebration of our Members and their work at our Quilt Show. Keep Sat 8th and Sun 9th free to visit us.  Doors are open 10am - 4pm each day.  Entry is $5.00 per person. Our wonderful quilt 4o'clock in Kilmore will be on display and raffle tickets will be available to purchase.

November will be another quiet month with a 10-10 Sit'n'Sew on Sat 5th plus the night and day gatherings.

December will see the final of our 20th Year celebrations with Christmas Lunch on Sat 10th.
