We are a community promoting quilting and related crafts.

Kilmore Quilters provides a social environment for us to get together and share knowledge, learn new skills and create wonderful pieces of art that you can throw on a bed, hang on a wall, or present to someone you love.

Monthly gatherings are held on the following days : Our evening gathering is at 7pm, on the 3rd Wednesdayof the month at the Kilmore Memorial Hall, Kilmore, in the supper room.

The day gathering is held on the following Tuesday at the same venue from 9am-12pm.

About Us

Kilmore Quilters was formed in 2002 with a founding membership of approximately 10 members.  It is run as a not for profit organisation.

From its inauguration the goal was to encourage friendship and creativity within the group.
Today the membership has swelled to approx 70 members who meet monthly to exchange ideas, plan workshops, retreats and exhibitions.

At gatherings ‘Show and Tell’ has proved to be very popular.

Our Quilt Show and Quilt In which occur on alternating years are seen as the highlights in our calendar, with people coming from far afield to view the display of Members' quilts and to enjoy our country hospitality.

Our Sit n Sews are proving popular with our members giving them a chance to finish off their projects and seek advice and learn from other members in a friendly relaxed environment

Our calendar is always filled with plenty of Sit n Sews, workshops to suit beginners through to advanced patch workers along with events such as our annual retreat and our biennial Quilt Show or Quilt In.

Please come and join us for one of our events.  Visitors and new members are always welcome.
